Holly at Amber Mace is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager to join an established team at a reputable nursing home based in Exeter. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to step into a managerial role or an experienced Clinical Deputy seeking a new challenge. The Clinical Deputy Manager will work closely with the Home Manager to oversee the clinical care delivery and ensure the well-being of all residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and support to a team of nursing and care staff.
Assist in the management of day-to-day clinical operations of the home.
Ensure high standards of care are delivered in accordance with CQC guidelines and company policies.
Supervise, train, and mentor nursing staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Support the Home Manager in maintaining financial efficiency, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Carry out assessments, care planning, and medication management for residents.
Manage a mixture of supernumerary and hands-on floor shifts, ensuring a consistent level of care.
Ensure safe, effective, and person-centered care practices are in place.

Key Requirements:
A valid NMC pin and Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN).
Previous experience in a clinical role would be advantageous, ideally within a nursing home or similar care setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to elderly residents.
Knowledge of CQC regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
