PURPOSE OF ROLE 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Commercial Account Handler to join our clients well-established insurance team in Devon. This role is ideal for an someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing client portfolios, handling renewals and delivering top-tier customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversee and manage client portfolios, ensuring effective insurance solutions
  • Handle policy renewals and process mid-term adjustments with accuracy
  • Provide professional and timely responses to client inquiries
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes
  • Support client retention strategies and contribute to business growth

DAY-TO-DAY 

  • Regularly review and manage client policies, ensuring they meet client needs
  • Process renewals and mid-term adjustments efficiently and accurately
  • Respond to client queries promptly, offering professional guidance and solutions
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to maintain smooth operations

EXPERIENCE 

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Account Handler role within the insurance industry
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the insurance sector 

SKILLS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner
