gap personnel are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager for their client based in Exeter.

Our client are a leading recycling and waste management company who are now looking for an Assistant Site Manager to ensure effective delivery of all operational, compliance, H&S, input, and output activities on site.

Due to the nature of this position, the successful candidate will have previous experience of working within Transfer Operations/Landfill, ideally with IOSH/NEBOSH.

As an Assistant Site Manager your duties will include:

  • Overseeing Transfer Station, MRF and Landfill operations
  • Experience of working with industrial machinery
  • Managing P&Ls and setting budgets

About You:

  • As a self-motivated and driven candidate, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the site, along with monitoring productivity and improvements.
  • Our client proactively leads change and development within their business and encourages self-development.
  • To lead, motivate and develop teams

Working Hours & Pay:

  • £45,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Transport necessary due to location of site.

Successful candidates will be pro-active team workers, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
