A Credit Controller is sought to facilitate the smooth operation of financial transactions within a thriving property business. This role involves maintaining client accounts, liaising with tenants, and ensuring prompt payment of rents.

You will need to be good on the phone, good with accounts/numbers and ideally have some credit control experience.

Description

  • Oversee and manage client accounts to ensure prompt payment of rents.
  • Liaise with tenants, handling any queries or issues related to rent payments.
  • Conduct regular rent account reviews and updates.
  • Provide detailed reports to management on rent account status.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations within the property industry.
  • Work closely with the wider Accounting & Finance department to optimise efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
  • Support with other ad hoc duties within the department as required.

Profile

A successful Rent Credit Controller should have:

  • An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience in financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with tenants.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A firm understanding of the property industry and associated regulations.
