Data Analyst - Power BI
Day rate: £240 - £300 per day (Inside IR35)
Our client, a leading public sector organisation, seeks an experienced Data Analyst to join their digital transformation journey. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on service delivery through data-driven decision-making.
The successful candidate will develop and implement corporate performance dashboards using Power BI, supporting key stakeholders in making informed decisions. This role sits at the heart of our client's digital transformation strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a new corporate performance framework
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for various stakeholders
- Collaborate with service departments to understand and meet their data requirements
- Collect, clean and analyse data from multiple sources
- Ensure data compliance with relevant regulations and governance standards
- Deliver training on data interpretation and Power BI usage
- Work with external technology partners to share best practices
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in data analysis and dashboard creation
- Strong Power BI expertise
- Experience in data cleaning and maintenance
- Knowledge of data protection and information governance
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Public sector experience would be beneficial
