Job Title: Teaching Assistant

About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a school in Torbay for a temporary position from Easter to Summer. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students and contribute to their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher with delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one support for students who need extra help.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
- Support students with special educational needs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a classroom setting.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
