Your new companyYou will be joining a Tier 1 contractor based in Exeter operating in the water industry. This high-profile and multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work with South West Water and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position Mon-Fri (40 hours per week) with a mixture of office, home and site-based working.

Your new roleAs Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing and delivering electrical works on water projects from inception through to completion
  • Conducting site visits to monitor project progress and resolve potential technical issues
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation, including RAMS and technical reports
  • Developing project scopes and technical specifications
  • Overseeing contractors and suppliers, ensuring works comply with technical, quality and safety standards
  • Supporting project planning, scheduling and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Experience in the delivery of electrical works within the water/wastewater industry
  • Commercial awareness and comprehension of health & safety (particularly CDM)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
