The job located in Exeter EX1 is for an ongoing contract position with a pay rate of £24.00 per hour, paid weekly via umbrella.
Candidates are expected to have a formal electrical qualification and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities include removing/installing lighting and electrical sockets, as well as supervising subcontractor works.
The role requires adherence to safety practices, including the preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Applicants must also be able to work at heights and obtain full Security Clearance.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities

Removing/installing lighting
Removing/installing electrical sockets
Ensure RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practises
All reactive tasks throughout the building are completed, proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made
Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractor works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance/fixes, keeping them honest. Ensuring permits and RAMS are adhered to
To develop a good working relationship with all members of the team, subcontractors, and client’s staff
Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment is met, including the wearing of uniform and appropriate PPE always. To ensure compliance with all client policies and procedures
Ensure all storage areas are maintained and kept safe and tidy
Undertake lone working where required
Undertake other tasks directed by the account management team

Person Specification

Formal electrical qualification,
BS7671 18th edition regulations

Able to work at heights
Obtain full Security Clearance.
