We are seeking an experienced Administrator to support our neuro administrators with a range of administrative tasks. This role involves working within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, providing essential support to both the team and the service users. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple administrative tasks in a health setting, although experience in health is desirable but not essential.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Responding to telephone calls, emails, and written enquiries efficiently.
  • Accurately adding electronic patient notes to our system.
  • Producing detailed reports and letters for parents, carers, GPs, patients, and schools.
  • Providing support in customer and visitor reception areas.
  • Handling sensitive information, which may sometimes be distressing, with professionalism and care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively managing interactions with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in a health setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and empathetically.
