Our client, a market-leading organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst with strong data analytical skills to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
As Financial Analyst, you will drive business growth and efficiency by collecting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring data integrity and process improvements along the way.
The responsibilities:
- Compile and analyse extensive datasets from diverse sources to uncover significant trends and irregularities.
- Employ advanced statistical techniques to interpret complex data, focusing on patterns relevant for predictive and diagnostic analysis.
- Design and update interactive dashboards to effectively communicate financial and operational metrics to key stakeholders.
- Implement rigorous data quality assurance protocols to maintain the highest standards of data integrity.
- Oversee database management, ensuring data currency and accessibility across the organisation.
- Proactively identify and implement enhancements to data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
The candidate:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, coupled with demonstratable experience in financial analysis or comparable roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for robust data analysis.
- Expertise in data visualisation tools like Power BI for creating impactful financial reports and dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial software.
