Our client, a forward-thinking organisation, is currently seeking a proficient Treasury Analyst to join their dynamic and growing team on a temporary, full-time basis at their office based near Exeter.
The responsibilities:
- Track daily cash movements across various accounts.
- Forecast short-term and long-term cash needs based on business activities, market conditions, and historical trends.
- Communicate with different departments (including finance, operations, procurement) to anticipate cash needs.
- Identify any discrepancies between actual and expected cash flows.
- Reconcile cash balances between company records and bank statements.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations to include bank accounts, credit cards, fleet, debtors and creditors
The candidate:
- Qualified Accountant with extensive knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and cash flow management.
- Demonstrate innovative thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
- Technically proficient with accounting principles and accounting software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
This role would suit Treasury Manager, FP&A Analyst, Finance Analyst, Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, System Analysts, Finance Business Partner, and candidates looking for interim, short fixed term contracts and temporary placements.
The role would be commutable from Exeter, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Teignmouth, Exmouth, Okehampton, Crediton, Tiverton, Paignton, Honiton, Totnes and Ivybridge.
