Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist the Senior Management team and Directors in the delivery of statutory accounts preparation.
  • Manage comprehensive accounts roles including Charities and NFP.
  • Oversee the management and delivery of accounts assignments.
  • Supervise workflow and effectively manage the team.
  • Lead audit assignments from planning to completion.
  • Review audit files prior to Director review.
  • Build and sustain key client relationships.
  • Handle ad-hoc project work as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • ACA / ACCA qualification with practice experience.
  • Proven experience as a manager or overseeing a small team.
  • Strong background in company accounts and tax.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under pressure.
  • Extensive experience in managing accounts assignments including planning, preparation, completion, and client delivery.
  • Commercial awareness with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient IT skills.
