Job Purpose

  • Plan and review accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies.
  • Work closely with clients, sending final accounts, proactively handling queries, and building trusted relationships.
  • Forecast and manage budgets, as well as overseeing workflow and scoping improvements to systems and processes to increase efficiencies.
  • Prepare and review personal and corporation tax computations, including tax returns, tax liabilities, and providing trusted tax advisory.
  • Support the firm’s strategic direction by identifying new service lines for your clients.
  • Support Managers and Partners with ad hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with demonstrable post-qual experience in practice.
  • Experienced in accounts preparation, working to deadlines and budgets.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office suite, primarily excel.
  • Working knowledge of accountancy software, including Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Able to confidently work closely with Partners.
