Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established business in the Exeter area.
This is a lead finance role, reporting into the Managing Director where you will take on a key position within the organisation.
Key duties will include:
- Overall responsibility of the day to day running of the finance department
- Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts.
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and key control accounts.
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts information and liaising with external auditors.
- Preparation of detailed cash flow and treasury management.
- Day to day book-keeping within the company as required.
- Oversee weekly and monthly payroll.
- Ensure tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE and corporation tax.
- Preparation of yearly budgets and forecasts.
- Manage accounts receivable reviewing credit risk and customer payment performance.
- Manage accounts payable including monthly payment runs.
- Provide margin analysis, highlighting key trends and potential issues.
- Support with a variety of HR tasks to comply with legislation.
The successful candidate will either be formally qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience. You will be able to work in a hands on, varied finance role in a small business, working with a wide range of people.
