Overview:

Are you an experienced private client tax professional with a passion for providing tailored tax solutions? My client is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. If you have a strong background in private client tax and are eager to make a meaningful impact, I want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing comprehensive tax planning and advisory services.
  • Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of personal tax returns, including those of individuals, families, and trusts.
  • Advising clients on a range of tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and international tax issues.
  • Leading and developing a team of junior tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential tax risks, offering proactive solutions.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders, including HMRC, other professionals, and clients' legal advisors.
  • Keeping up to date with tax legislation and providing clients with timely, strategic advice.

Skills and Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant experience in private client tax advisory, ideally gained in a professional services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax matters, including experience with trusts, estates, and international taxation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax issues to clients clearly and concisely.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
