Role Responsibilities
  • Managing client portfolios and delivering VAT advisory services across a wide range of sectors, including education, charities, property, and international businesses
  • Advising clients on VAT implications of transactions, including supply chains, land and property, and cross-border activity
  • Researching and presenting technical VAT issues in a practical and understandable way to clients and colleagues
  • Contributing to business development activities and actively participating in sector groups
  • Supporting the VAT Partner in expanding the firm’s VAT advisory services across the region
  • Managing client relationships and expectations, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the VAT team, ensuring they have the tools to grow within the firm

  • Manages a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors, offering expert VAT advice
  • Specialises in VAT areas such as construction, property, cross-border transactions, and partial exemption
  • Communicates effectively and builds strong client relationships with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possesses people management experience, mentoring junior staff and supporting team development
  • Holds a CTA qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Demonstrates a commercial mindset and a drive to contribute to the firm’s overall growth
