Role Overview:
As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that promote the growth and development of young children. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that adhere to the EYFS curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children.
  • Regularly assess and track children's development and provide constructive feedback to both children and parents.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child is encouraged to learn and grow.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure strong involvement in children’s learning and development.
  • Follow safeguarding and health & safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all students.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
  • Previous experience in teaching EYFS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • A commitment to ensuring every child’s needs are met and supported.
  • A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • The flexibility to be able to cover both breakfast and after school clubs throughout the week (paid hourly in addition to the daily rate).
