Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading recycling and waste services management company. They are looking to recruit a supervisor to support he day to day running of 3 Windrow Composting sites around the Exeter area.
The Composting Supervisor role comes with a starting salary of up to 34,000 + other benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supervise and support the composting operations across the 3 sites.
- Telehandler operation to move wave and materials around the site.
- Perform daily and weekly checks on the facility and completing associated paperwork.
- Carry out routine and minor repairs, plan and organise maintenance across sites.
- Ensure health & safety compliance, and PPE guidelines are followed.
- Liaise with regulatory inspectors when required.
- Other duties as required.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Experience in compositing/ recycling, or similar environment, working with plant operations and routine maintenance activities.
- Proven experience supervising and leading a team, highly desirable if this has been across multiple locations.
- Knowledge of PAS100.

Salary and benefits of the Composting Supervisor role
- Salary between 30,000 up to 34,000 (DOE).
- Monday - Friday.
