Our client, a highly regarded medical practice, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team in a role that not only contributes to smooth daily running of the practice but gives back to the community!

Job Title: Senior Administrator

Location: Central Exeter

Salary: £13.50 - £15 per hour dependant on experience

Hours: 30hrs - 37hrs per week, Monday - Friday, Flexible working between hours of 7:45am- 6:30pm

Duration: Fixed term contract minimum 14 months with potential of permanent placement

The Company: With a workforce of 25 people, this medical practice has two surgeries, one in the city centre and the other just a short distance away on the eastern side of Exeter. They pride themselves on providing two communities - that's roughly 8000 patients - with a range of healthcare, and have a team of 6 dedicated, friendly doctors. The employees go out of their way to help not only the patients, but each other and provide an inclusive, caring and supportive working environment and the company offers staff a healthy work-life balance.

Role:Our client is seekingsomeone to join their friendly and busy team who will provide an essential service not only to their patients but to the medial team and practice itself. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all patient queries are handled efficiently and effectively. You will also lead by example, providing managerial and leadership support to a team of 6 patient advisers.

Duties:

· General administrative duties

· Ensure smooth day to day running with resources available

· Reception cover, being point of contact of patients signposting them to appropriate care

· Follow and adhere to company procedures and be a reliable and hardworking asses to the practice

· Rota and holiday planning when required

· Go -to person for any patient escalations, reassurance, or difficulties

Skills Required

· Strong administrative experience

· Previous experience within a medical practice (desirable)

· Excellent organisational skills

· Strong I.T Skills

· Caring and empathetic individual

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work well within a team

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems

· Hardworking, reliable and raring to go!
