About the Role:Are you a natural leader with a passion for making a difference? We're looking for a Team Manager to join a dynamic team supporting 16 individuals across two services in the beautiful Devon area! You'll be working alongside two dedicated team leaders and an experienced Registered Manager, with a fantastic staff team that has been with the service for years. If you're ready to make your mark, lead with passion, and have fun along the way, this role is for you!

What You'll Be Doing:

Your mission will be to lead the service with a focus on excellence, supporting individuals aged 19-60 with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Here's a glimpse of what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead with enthusiasm, creating a positive and inclusive management culture that empowers both staff and residents.
  • Play a key role in marketing the service and ensuring it runs smoothly, all while staying within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Responsible Individual, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Get involved in strategic planning, policy development, and continuous evaluation to keep the service at its best.
  • Foster a supportive work environment, minimising risks and enhancing employee relations.
  • Manage care policies, procedures, and all operational aspects of the service, from catering to maintenance.
  • Ensure the service meets all legislative standards and provide hands-on leadership for day-to-day operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • A leader with experience in supported living environments (don't worry, you'll get full support from the Area Manager!).
  • Someone comfortable with providing personal care and who brings a flexible, can-do attitude to the role.
  • A passion for leading teams and creating a positive, fun atmosphere.
