Clark Wood are recruiting for a Payroll Manager within a firm of Accountants in Exeter.

The Payroll Manager role involves overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, supporting accurate and timely payroll processing by calculating wages, managing attendance records, and maintaining detailed payroll information.

This position requires collaboration with HR and finance teams, staying updated on UK payroll regulations, and resolving discrepancies efficiently.

Role Duties:

  • Overseeing end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions and benefits administration, such as insurance and healthcare plans.
  • Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and analysis.
  • Processing new hires, terminations, promotions and other employee status changes in the payroll system, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting, calculating and inputting payroll data for all employees.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable UK laws, regulations and company policies while processing payroll.
  • Administer and maintain payroll systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance and other departments to gather and validate payroll information, such as new hires, terminations, promotions and salary changes.
