HR AdvisorTheOpportunity:HR Advisor with 5 years experience at this level, ideally with CIPD Level 5 required to join an established HR Team on Sowton in Exeter.  This is a full Generalist HR role, within a busy manufacturing facility and will require a resilient, capable, hands on HR specialist with excellent admin skills and attention to detail.  This will be a key role in providing HR advice and guidance to the organisation and all employees, with the role being very ER focussed, including case management, poilcy review, guidance and advice.  We are seeking an individual who:
  • Is experienced working within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment
  • Professionally qualified, experienced and highly motivated practitioner
  • Has the ability to manage a varied and complex ER workload providing up to date advice to all levels of personnel
  • Can act as a trusted advisor and demonstrate a track record of delivering effective HR operational practice
  • Has excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Can demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of employment law, legislation and statutory guidance and translate this into policy and practice
Essential criteria for the post will be to demonstrate understanding, experience and knowledge of policy and activities within the HR and ER area and have a relevant professional qualification or experience and membership of a professional body. You will need to be flexible to cover multiple different projects and be used to managing projects to deadlines.Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8-4Associated Benefits:A range of benefits including excellent pension scheme, life assurance and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
