Job Role
As an Employee Engagement and Experience Advisor, you'll be a key part of the People team, delivering a range of HR services. You'll support the Employee Engagement and Experience Manager by providing first-line contact on all people-related issues, ensuring compliance with internal processes and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line HR advice with a people-centric approach.
- Manage the recruitment process from advertisement to hiring.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing processes and policies.
- Share meaningful people-related metrics/data with stakeholders.
- Manage employee relations, including meetings and hearings.
- Support the wider People team collaboratively.
- Advise managers on absence management issues.
- Facilitate welfare meetings or disciplinaries as needed.
- Coach and support managers in assisting colleagues.
- Participate in the job evaluation process.
- Conduct salary benchmarking exercises.
- Understand the job market and its impact.
- Maintain accurate HR Information System data.
- Be passionate about employee engagement.
- Identify and nurture talent, addressing performance issues.
- Drive people-related initiatives, balancing employee needs with objectives.
