Our established client is looking for a HR Officer to join their HR team. The ideal candidate will have 1 years' experience in HR and a good understanding of implementing HR policies. This is more than an administrative post, it is a fantastic opportunity for someone wishing to turbo charge their career and become involved in an HR advisory role, working in a national brand.

Your role will be to signpost managers to appropriate HR policies and procedures, providing day-to-day employee support with a focus on sickness, absence, and grievance process. The position will involve working closely with the rest of the HR team, in an environment that supports employee growth and progression.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with managers to ensure correct handling of disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and other HR procedures.
  • Be a proactive member of the HR team, supporting the Head of HR as required to meet the business objectives.
  • Assisting with employee relations, managing employee absences & ensuring internal processes are followed to progress through relevant stages as per policy.
  • Assisting with Ad Hoc Projects
  • Writing outcome letters
  • Being a neutral HR presence in the business able to provide an invaluable HR service to managers and employees.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 1 year HR experience and experience of the disciplinary process
  • Desirable CIPD Level 3 desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with a good communication skill-set

This job is based in office and does not offer hybrid working, but does offer the chance to work in a team environment where you will learn invaluable skills to move forward in your HR career. They are able to offer free parking. This is a full-time role 37.5 hours per week.
