Sales Account Manager (Marine)

They offer a comprehensive service that includes procurement, storage solutions, inventory management, and logistical support, ensuring vessels run smoothly and efficiently.

In this role you will have the opportunity to build your own portfolio of clients and build strong relationships with crew and purchasing teams from a range of commercial clients in the cruise line, ship management, and freight industries.

This company is looking for a dynamic account manager who enjoys building rapport with customers and giving excellent customer service. There are opportunities to travel and meet clients, while progressing your sales career in this exciting industry.

The Role:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Driving growth of key accounts and identifying any barriers to growth
  • Engage new and past customers, identify areas of business to target
  • Networking and outreaching to new potential clients
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues
  • Attend sales trips to meet key clients and develop relationships
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation
  • 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday

The Person:

  • Sales background with high capability for developing relationships and building rapport
  • Excellent negotiation skills
