We’re working with an inspiring tech company on a mission to support people with autism and/or neurological difference to achieve their goals and live more independently. Their product provides practical assistance to empower users to manage challenges and maintain their wellbeing, combining technology and on-demand human support.  Award winning and approved by the thousands of users. Their product is widely used across health/social care, HE and the workplace and has secured significant grant and investment funding to scale their team so they can reach more users.*You will need to be able to work in their Exeter office 1-2 times per fortnight.What skills you’ll be needing
  • Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Cloud – specifically assessing, managing, and closing security recommendations and vulnerabilities.
  • Microsoft 365 applications administration (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online etc).
  • Experience supporting either Mac or Windows in a business environment. Both preferable.
  • Hands-on experience with Intune for endpoint management, software updates, and application configuration, across a mixed Windows/MacOS, iOS, and Android estate.
  • Azure Entra ID experience for users, roles, groups, and permissions management.
  • Basic scripting and automation skills (PowerShell and/or bash desirable but not essential).
  • Understanding of core IT principles like least-privilege, MFA, defence in depth, and change control.
What you’ll be doingAs IT Operations Engineer, you will help to support IT Systems for a remote workforce, ensuring the smooth operation of services and infrastructure. The role will involve securing services and endpoints, troubleshooting technical issues and aligning the M365 / Azure environment to best practices. You will play an essential part in maintaining a secure, efficient, and scalable IT environment.
