Your New Role

Become an integral part of our client's team as an IT Trainer, where you'll enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their IT Support Service. You'll foster strong relationships with key IT contacts and help minimise support calls through a robust training program.

  • Lead the IT Training function within the client's IT Department.
  • Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager and IT Project Manager to develop and deliver essential project and product training.
  • Define and assess staff competencies for the client's main software products.
  • Regularly consult with the client's Training Contacts to identify and develop necessary training areas.
  • Work with the Learning and Development Assistant in HR to integrate additional training needs.
  • Analyse helpdesk call trends with the Service Delivery Manager and Helpdesk Supervisor to identify training opportunities.
  • Design and implement scheduled training programs across all client offices.
  • Conduct IT Induction Training for new employees at all client locations.
  • Update induction training materials to reflect software changes in collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager.
  • Provide training support for new software rollouts.
  • Maintain comprehensive training documentation and records.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proficiency in a range of IT systems and software.
  • Proven experience of delivering IT training sessions to diverse groups, both in-person and virtually.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
  • The ability to tailor training programs to meet the specific needs of different departments and skill levels within the firm.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during training sessions.
