A leading Electromechanical Service Provider is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter/Winder to carry out winding tasks in their workshop, including the repair and replacement of wire coils in electrical components. The role also involves repairing electrical motors, pumps, gearboxes, and performing other workshop tasks

The Role

• Repair electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and generators (
• Apply electro/mechanical knowledge to rewind AC/DC motors, stators, armatures, and transformers.
• Perform low and high voltage rewinds and refurbishment of electric motors and generators.
• Complete workshop documentation and submit it to the Workshop Supervisor or Manager.
• Be available for call-out shifts or overtime as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or Manager.

The Person

• Proven experience in working with electrical motors, pumps, gearboxes, and generators, with expertise in rewinding AC/DC motors, stators, armatures, and transformers.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours when needed.
• Good timekeeping skills are essential.
