Graduate Town Planner - Consultancy - Exeter

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a forward-thinking specialist Planning and Development Consultancy in Exeter in their hire of an ambitious Graduate or Assistant Planner!

The current planning team has a wealth of experience in dealing with a variety of complex residential, commercial, retail, and urban regeneration development schemes. They specialise in leading multi-disciplinary teams in navigating strategic scale development projects through the planning system.

As part of the team, the successful applicant will assist in a variety of services and tasks which include planning applications, appraisals and strategy reports, land purchase and strategic promotion, EIA co-ordination and expert witness.

Candidate Requirements:

  • RTPI accredited degree in Planning or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in either the private or public sector advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive, can-do attitude are essential!
