- Progressing and Managing the planning process directly or via consultants
- Provide Town Planning advice and co-ordinating with the land, technical and design teams to assist with land purchase and planning matters
- Delivering profitable development opportunities
- Overseeing and managing the project planning team
- Co-ordinate and manage external consultants
- Consider all planning issues in connection with the land
- Investigate and consider all planning matters and risks
- Co-ordinate and manage any public exhibitions/presentations
- Attending meetings with local authorities and represent the company at planning committees
- Attending site meetings
- Prepare project development assessments
- Member of the RTPI or degree level in T&C planning. MRTPI chartership is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of local authority policy requirements
- Good relationships with local authorities and planning consultants
- Able to work collaboratively as part of the project team
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
