Landscaper | Exeter | Full Time | £30,000-£40,000 per annum

Hours of work

  • March to October: Mon Fri, 9 hours/day
  • Winter: Mon Thurs, 8 hours/day
  • Overtime: Available (Mon Fri: 1.33x, Sat: 1.5x)

Are you the right person for the job?

  • 3 years experience in the landscaping industry
  • Basic carpentry, landscaping, and trades skills
  • Proven good attendance and performance record
  • Strong communication skills
  • Practical mindset and physical fitness to handle the jobs demands
  • Willing to assist and help others, to learn, and be open to development
  • A positive approach to both the job and the tasks at hand
  • Able to acknowledge mistakes and learn from them

What will your role look like?

As a Landscaper, you will work closely with a team member to deliver a variety of projects to the highest standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering projects to specification
  • Managing customer expectations on-site
  • Using commercial landscaping equipment
  • Maintaining the van and machinery
  • Ensuring the van is loaded with the correct kit and sundries for the day
  • Preventing last-minute problems and ensuring all scheduled works are completed
  • Adhering to best practices and providing feedback to your line manager
  • Following health and safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE

What can you expect in return?

  • 1-5 years service: 20 days + bank holidays
  • 6-7 years service: 22 days + bank holidays
  • 8-10 years service: +1 holiday per annum
  • Optional scheme with 3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution
