Role: Family Solicitor or Legal Executive

What will you do?
- Be the first family fee earner in this Exeter branch
- Get things up and running and then build out a family sub team
- Inherit family law work already flowing into the firm
- Handle your own privately funded family law caseload
- This will include divorce and separation, child arrangements, financial disputes, cohabitation agreements & nuptial agreements
- Represent clients in family court proceedings, including financial remedy hearings, injunctive proceedings and child arrangement disputes
- Liaise with barristers and attend court on behalf of clients as needed
- Promote and facilitate mediation & collaborative law
- Build strong relationships with clients, delivering excellent client care, and maintaining a positive reputation for the firm
What do you need?
- To be a qualified solicitor or legal executive
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience handling your own family law caseload
- A willingness to get stuck in and contribute to marketing activities from time to time
