What will you do?

  • Be the first family fee earner in this Exeter branch
  • Get things up and running and then build out a family sub team
  • Inherit family law work already flowing into the firm
  • Handle your own privately funded family law caseload
  • This will include divorce and separation, child arrangements, financial disputes, cohabitation agreements & nuptial agreements
  • Represent clients in family court proceedings, including financial remedy hearings, injunctive proceedings and child arrangement disputes
  • Liaise with barristers and attend court on behalf of clients as needed
  • Promote and facilitate mediation & collaborative law
  • Build strong relationships with clients, delivering excellent client care, and maintaining a positive reputation for the firm

What do you need?

  • To be a qualified solicitor or legal executive
  • Ideally 3+ years’ experience handling your own family law caseload
  • A willingness to get stuck in and contribute to marketing activities from time to time
