Local Government Solicitor (Hybrid) needed in Exeter, £390.38 per day PAYE - Reference: 5260566

Hybrid Working Considered. Full Time post, Part Time may be considered for the right candidate. 

  • Research and analyse legal issues, interpret laws, rulings, and regulations related to the constitution.
  • Corresponding and negotiating with government departments.
  • Prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda on constitutional and governance issues.
  • Interpreting policy documents
  • Advise clients, governmental bodies, or other entities on the constitutionality of laws, regulations, or actions.
  • Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
  • Present and summarize cases to leadership team, elected members, government officials and judges.
  • Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to discuss case details, conduct legal research, and coordinate litigation strategies.
  • Keep up to date with changes in constitutional law and relevant case precedent.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis
