Personal Injury Lawyer – Exeter I’m looking to speak with experienced Personal Injury Solicitors or Lawyers to join the growing litigation team at a well-established Legal 500 firm in Exeter. With a great reputation for top-notch legal services and community involvement across Devon and Somerset, this is a really good opportunity for personal growth! In this role, you’ll be managing MOJ Portal and Fast Track cases independently, handling Intermediate Track cases with a bit of support, and working alongside a Partner on multi-track cases. On average, you’ll manage around 20 active files with a total value circa £300k, with a target of around 5.5 chargeable hours a day (but there’s flexibility when you’re settling in). Ideally, you’ll have 3-5 years of solid personal injury litigation experience—whether as a senior paralegal, CILEX Lawyer, or Solicitor. If you’ve got experience or interest in clinical negligence, that’s a bonus!The firm really values team involvement in marketing, business development, networking, and social events. The salary starts at £42,000 based on experience, with a nice bonus structure based on your targets. You should be comfortable with IT systems, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running. While you can work from home up to two days a week after settling in, being in the office for training and mentoring is key.You’ll be working closely with a supportive team that includes three Partners, a CILEx, an ILEx, a Trainee, a Paralegal, and four support staff. There’s a clear career progression pathway from Paralegal right up to Partnership (with most solicitors achieving Associate level at 2/3PQE).
