Exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join one of the largest successful and approachable multi-office law firms in Devon. Due to recent growth and expansion, this firm is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and ambitiousPrivate Client Solicitor, to join its established teamspanning a number of offices. Progression and Partnership opportunities available. Flexible location.

Overview:

  • The requirement is to handle the usual areas of a Private Client caseload such as wills, estate administration and LPAs and general powers of attorney, but also more complex matters including complex estate administration (including those with agricultural and business elements as well and significant financial investments), will trusts, deeds of appointment and variation as well as tax advice.
  • You would be required to run your own cases from start to finish, with administrative assistance.
  • Fantastic opportunities for progression, including supervisory element, managerial duties, mentoring, team leader role, for the right candidate, should this be desirable.
  • You will be required to produce a high quality service, maintain excellent file administration and ideally to develop a specialism in your chosen area of work.
  • It would also be helpful if you would be willing and keen to engage in business development for the firm, internally and externally.

The successful candidate:

  • You will have 5+ PQE as a Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive. Those otherwise qualified by experience will also be considered.

  • You will be confident handling your own caseload unsupervised.

  • STEP membership is desirable but not essential.

  • You will be professional, organised, competent, enthusiastic and ambitious.

  • Market salary and package on offer, DOE (circa £50 - £70k) including usual benefits.
  • The role is ideally full time but part time hours can be considered.
  • Possible hybrid remote/flexible working options available.
  • Full supervision and training will be given to the successful candidate where needed.
  • There is flexibility as to which office location this position can be based in, due to the firm's many offices spanning Devon.
