Job Title: Air & Sea Freight Coordinator
Location: Exeter
Salary: Circa 32k
We are looking for an experienced Air & Sea Freight Coordinator to join our team in Exeter. You will be responsible for coordinating the international movement of goods, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with customs regulations. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end freight forwarding process, liaising with clients, carriers, and customs authorities.
- Ensure shipments are delivered on time and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and process all shipping documentation.
- Track shipments and provide updates to clients.
- Resolve issues and delays proactively.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and customs regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Desirable:
- Experience in ocean, air, and/or road freight forwarding.
- Relevant qualifications in logistics or supply chain management.
