Start date: 6th January 2025Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Operative to join their growing team on the outskirts of Exeter. As a Production Operative you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food is produced, packed, and delivered to customers.You will be responsible for assisting the Production Manager in all aspects of manufacturing and production.Key Responsibilities of Production Operative:
- Manual handling of heavy products and equipment during manufacturing process (up to 25kg)
- Manufacturing from raw materials
- Cleaning, washing and mixing of ingredients and working stations
- Ensure products are packed and labelled correctly
- Adhere to strict food hygiene and safety regulations
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards
Experience and skills of Production Operative:
- Previous experience in a food production role is desirable but not essential
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Be physically fit, able to consistently lift weights.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
