What You Will Do:

  • Assume full operational responsibility across all production departments, ensuring a safe, organised, and efficient workplace.
  • Embed a strong EHS culture and deliver the site's operating and production plans to meet customer demands and agreed targets.
  • Implement performance metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities using lean principles and techniques.
  • Lead the digital transformation of the shopfloor, integrating IT systems with production equipment for real-time performance monitoring.
  • Develop the operations team through effective management, mentoring, and training.

What You Will Bring:

  • A higher level qualification in production management/engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Considerable experience in a hi-tech manufacturing environment, with demonstrable significant senior management experience.
  • A proven record of driving operational improvement through lean/TPS principles.
  • Experience in implementing or working in a fully digital shopfloor with automated data capture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent management and communication abilities.
