Are you an Operations Manager with a background in Aviation Maintenance looking for an exciting new opportunity where you will be at the forefront of the company and have an instant impact on the success of the business?

On offer is an autonomous role where you will be playing an essential part of the business, coordinating the day to day running of base maintenance including support services and managing the contractor requirements within the base.

This modern and rapidly growing company are an industry leading FBO providing base and MRO facilities, performing maintenance on a range of different aircraft types including private and transport craft. This company holds CAA and ESCA accreditations ensuring a stable pipeline of work over the coming years.

This role would suit an Operations Manager with an understanding of Part 145 and UK CAA regulations looking to take on an exciting role where you will be leading a team alongside the General Manager. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills across departments.

The Role:

  • Lead, motivate and mentor a skilled team of likeminded professionals.
  • Coordinate the day to day running of base maintenance
  • Liaise with onsite customer representatives
  • Address and establish forward action for any safety or quality issues raised on aircraft or in the hangar facility
  • Meet/exceed customer's requirements and base maintenance revenue and cost targets.

The Person:

  • Ability to obtain Form 4 approval from the UK CAA
  • A knowledge of Base Maintenance Planning, Materials and Work Recording Systems
  • Able to qualify for an Airside Pass
