- Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
Project Overview: We are looking for a Site Manager to join our client, a Tier 1 contractor, for an exciting 12m fire safety improvement project on an existing building in Exeter. This project aims to enhance fire safety measures, ensuring compliance with the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring the project progresses on schedule and within budget.
- Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise site staff and subcontractors, providing clear instructions and support.
- Quality Control: Monitor work quality to ensure it meets project specifications and standards.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve on-site issues or conflicts promptly.
- Client Liaison: Maintain effective communication with the client, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, daily logs, and safety inspections.
Requirements:
- SMSTS Certification: Site Management Safety Training Scheme certificate.
- CSCS Card: Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme card.
- Experience: Ideally, some experience managing projects involving M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) / Facilities upgrades.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Problem Solving: Ability to handle challenges and solve problems efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
