Job Description:
They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will oversee various construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to address project requirements.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports.
- Oversee site logistics, including material deliveries and storage.
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment and construction projects valued between 50,000 and 6 million.
- Experience working on projects within education, healthcare, defence, or higher education sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems promptly and efficiently.
- Valid CSCS card, SMSTS certificate, and First Aid qualification.
- Proficient with project management software and IT systems.
