Our client is a large and well established Tier 1 contractor with a very strong profile throughout the South West. They carry out a diverse range of projects including schools, commercial schemes, care homes and student accommodation.
Due to the award of a care home refurbishment project in Exeter, they have approached us with the requirement to recruit an experienced Site Manager on a permanent basis.
The project involves the complete refurbishment of a live operational care home in Exeter. You will run the project as No.1 on site, overseeing all labour and trades and reportingt to a visiting PM on a weekly basis. The key with the project is being able to effectively carry out the work whilst the Care home is also able to operate effectively with its residents.
You will be an experienced Site Manager from a main contracting background, able to work in such an environment. Refurbishment experience would be an advantage but not essential.
