This role involves assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of projects, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD drawing, calculations, and project management support.
- Must have at least 1 years' experience in a Mechanical Design role
- Experience in the energy sector would be ideal
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of various projects.
- Perform calculations using specialised software to ensure robust design.
- Attend site visits to conduct quality inspections and produce as-installed schematics.
- Support the Technical Manager in all engineering aspects.
- Undertake CAD drawing and produce bill of materials for projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety processes and procedures during the design stage.
- Engage in research and development to source new products and improve existing systems.
- Complete timesheets and manage expenses as necessary.
- Support the Project Manager in ordering materials and costing up project BOMs.
- Raise quotes via company software for project ordering.
- Provide technical support to site engineers.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Ability to undertake detailed engineering calculations.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a design context.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
