Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Gas Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and heating systems at various, commercial, and industrial locations. You will work independently, providing expert gas services while ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, servicing, and repair of gas appliances such as boilers, heaters, and other heating systems.
  • Conducting safety inspections and diagnostic tests on gas systems.
  • Responding to emergency calls and carrying out repairs to ensure the safety of the premises.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on gas appliances.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Providing excellent customer service and clear communication with clients.
  • Completing detailed reports, certificates, and relevant paperwork after each job.
  • Traveling to client sites as required, managing your own schedule efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Gas Engineer, with strong knowledge of gas systems and appliances.
  • Gas Safe Registered.
  • Relevant qualifications in gas engineering (e.g., ACS certifications).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 3 or similar in Gas Engineering or Plumbing (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience working with commercial gas systems.
