Mobile Service Engineer

Mobile Service Engineer Required in Exeter - Permanent - Salary to be discussed.

An exciting opportunity to join out Southwest field service team, mainly based from our Exeter depot with some requirement to work from our Liskeard depot as required. The role will be servicing and maintaining a vast range of construction and earthmoving equipment.

Responsibilities:

• The routine servicing of construction equipment in line with manufacturers schedule and specification.
• Regular Lubricant and fluid monitoring and replenishment.
• Preventative maintenance / monitoring.
• Fault reporting.
• Cleaning, inspecting and preparing plant for transfer or redeployment
• Fitting replacement parts.
• Working alongside other team members on larger maintenance / repair tasks.

Requirements:

• Full driving licence
• Good mechanical knowledge
• Experience of plant and construction equipment and hydraulic systems
• Experience of conduction routine maintenance to a required level and standard
• Understanding of Risk assessments and method statements
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Good Time Management
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative
• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
