Your new companyYou will be joining a main contractor operating in the water sector. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Engineer to join their team.Your new roleAs Project Engineer, you will be based in the Devonshire area and be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance
- Liaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliers
- Maintaining good client relationships at all levels
- Monitoring subcontract performance
- Ensuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due date
- Assisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:
- Basic engineering background (mechanical and/or electrical)
- Working knowledge of NEC and/or IChemE conditions of contract
- Knowledge of CDM and health and safety
- A full UK driving licence.
