Your new companyYou will be joining a main contractor operating in the water sector. This high-profile organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Engineer to join their team.Your new roleAs Project Engineer, you will be based in the Devonshire area and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance
  • Liaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliers
  • Maintaining good client relationships at all levels
  • Monitoring subcontract performance
  • Ensuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due date
  • Assisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Basic engineering background (mechanical and/or electrical)
  • Working knowledge of NEC and/or IChemE conditions of contract
  • Knowledge of CDM and health and safety
  • A full UK driving licence.
