The Opportunity:
A great job for an experienced Injection Tooling Technician.Please note this is a night shift position, Monday to Friday 10pm-6am.
The Role:
- Actively participate in the end-of-run process for production tooling.
- Perform minor repairs on product-associated tooling.
- Monitor tooling performance on the manufacturing line to ensure efficient production rates, identify necessary repairs, and pinpoint areas for improvement in tooling and pattern quality.
- Provide support during the injection phase of new product implementation.
- Provide timely support for urgent tooling requirements within the production environment.
- Contribute to the reduction of downtime and scrap rates at the press.
- Review reports generated from data collected during tool defect analysis and end-of-run pattern assessments.
- Sound knowledge of the injection process (manufacturing environment)
- Competent skilled use of hand tools
- Experience of working within a workshop
- Knowledge of mould tools and press knowledge and programming ideal
- Toolroom knowledgeessential
- I.T. literate with experience of report writing
10pm-6am Monday to Friday - THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION, MONDAY TO FRIDAY
