Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Band 5 ITU Nurses to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit, delivering high-standard, patient-centered care as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist nursing care to critically ill patients in the ITU setting.
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, ensuring prompt intervention when necessary.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to trust protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 6 months ITU experience within the NHS.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
