  • Job Title: Locum Pharmacy Technician (Band 5/6)

  • Location: Devon

  • Duration: 3-6 month contract

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (30-minute lunch) - 3 or 4 days/week considered

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 5/6 Pharmacy Technician in a busy NHS hospital setting. In this role, you will:

  • perform comprehensive patient assessments

  • create and implement personalised care plans

  • deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes

  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care

  • maintain accurate patient records

  • support dispensary operations and medicines management processes

  • apply Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) skills

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a current and valid GPhC registration

  • ACT accreditation

  • For Band 5: experience in dispensary and ACT duties

  • For Band 6: ACT accreditation plus medicines management experience in hospital settings

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

  • a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm), though 3 or 4 days/week can be considered. The contract is for 3-6 months with the potential for extension depending on performance and service needs.
